StandardAero, Inc. in Broomfield, CO is seeking a General Manager to lead an operations, quality, material, and customer service team and own the site’s P&L.

You will develop performance and cost-efficiency standards, drive strategic plans, and partner across a matrix organization to meet financial and operational goals.

The role requires 10+ years of operational leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and US work authorization; compensation ranges from $145k to $218k plus incentives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in an Operational leadership role with delivered and sustainable results.

Responsabilités

  • Lead and develop performance, efficiency, and product quality standards for all production cells and service operations.
  • Ensure goals are met through collaborative initiatives across a matrix organization.
  • Monitor critical process performance using data and analytics (turn-around time, efficiency, productivity, COPQ).
  • Plan manpower, equipment, and facility capacity to support forecasted sales levels.
  • Identify continuous improvement and cost-efficiency projects; direct changes to machinery, processes and work methods.
  • Develop and implement policies to enhance profitability and competitive position.
  • Lead leadership teams in strategic plans, budgets, goals, and outcomes.
  • Drive proactive hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Participate in cross-unit strategic teams for the business.

As a GM, you will lead a dynamic team consisting of operations, quality, material, and customer service. This position is also responsible for having full ownership of P&L for the site.

What you'll do:
  • Lead and participate in the development of performance, efficiency, and product quality standards for all production cells and service operations within the Business Unit.
  • Ensure operational and financial goals are met through collaborative initiatives across a matrix organization.
  • Monitor and measure critical process performance such as turn-around time, efficiency, productivity, COPQ, and other metrics, utilizing the appropriate data and analytics.
  • Participate in strategic business planning for manpower, equipment, and facility capacity to support forecasted sales levels.
  • Identify continuous improvement and cost efficiency projects to adapt to technological, legal, and regulatory, policy, and product updates and changes. Plan and direct changes and updates to machinery and equipment, production systems, and work methods.
  • Develop and implement policies and programs to enhance the competitive position and profitability of the operation.
  • Actively participate in leadership teams tasked with the development and implementation of strategic plans, budgets, goals, and outcomes.
  • Lead an effective team through proactive hiring, coaching, mentoring, and effective performance management.
  • Contribute to overall leadership of StandardAero as a member of the Business Unit Strategic Team and the Sector Strategic Team.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in an Operational leadership role/roles with delivered and sustainable results.
Desired Skills:
  • MRO environment in strongly preferred. Experience in the components and accessories market is an asset, but not required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with core values centered on a participative communication style with a high degree of transparency and empathy; must be willing to lead by example through walking around and communicating effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to collaborate and contribute to the success of the total business model, including support functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Quality, etc. P&L experience is required.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $145K - $218K. The compensation package for this position also includes performance-based cash and equity incentives. Actual pay will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
