Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a capable packaging operator in a union environment. The role focuses on setting up and operating straight-line gluers to produce folded and glued cartons, while monitoring feed, glue, and quality conformance.

You will record materials use in SAP/PEAK and assist with maintenance and safety compliance. This position requires 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, with ability to work various shifts.

• 2-5 years relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates straight-line gluers and related equipment for folding and gluing cartons.
• Stacks box blanks in feed mechanism and monitors automatic feeding, folding and gluing.
• Inspects finished work for defects and adjust machinery to correct variations.
• Packs finished product, palletizes, and prints labels.
• Keeps time and materials usage reports in SAP and PEAK.
• Performs preventative maintenance and disassembles machines for repair.
• Assists temporary employees and reinforces SQF standards.
