Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Gluer Operator to operate and monitor machines that form and glue cartons, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules. This role requires manufacturing experience and 2-5 years of gluer experience on Bobst Alpina and Jagenberg equipment, with attention to attendance and safety standards.

You will train Finishing Helpers, coordinate with Purchasing for supplies, and perform essential duties on the glue line, including line clearances and jam removal.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2-5 years gluer operator experience on Bobst Alpina and Jagenberg gluer.
• Additional operator experience considered.
• Excellent attendance and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Verifies production schedule and correct job on line.
• Make-ready by adjusting forming bars for box size.
• Fill glue pots and position rollers for dispensing glue.
• Observe machine for malfunctions and inspect cartons for flaws.
• Train Finishing Helpers and coordinate with Purchasing for supplies.
• Perform duties of Finishing Helper when needed.
• Complete Daily Management boards with root cause analysis.
