Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a skilled Finishing/Gluer Operator to run and monitor carton gluing lines. You will ensure correct job setup, manage glue application, and maintain quality through careful inspection and timely adjustments.

The role requires attention to attendance, the ability to work independently, and experience with Bobst Alpina or Jagenberg gluer systems is preferred. Ongoing training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2-5 years Gluer operator experience on a Bobst Alpina and Jagenberg gluer.
• 2-5 years operator experience (non-gluer) considered.

Responsibilities

• Verify correct job is running based on production schedule.
• Adjust forming bars to accommodate box size (make-ready).
• Fill glue pots with adhesive and position rollers to dispense glue.
• Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions.
• Inspect cartons for flaws and color consistency.
• Make mechanical adjustments on machines as needed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to stock supplies in Finishing area.
• Train Finishing Helpers and Finishing Operator Assistants.
