Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a carton forming operator to run a machine that forms and glues flat cartons into finished cartons. You will ensure alignment with operations and customer expectations while supporting SAP reporting.

Experience in manufacturing is preferred, with the ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals, and to work various shifts including overtime. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent attendance and be able to work independently.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts forming bars to accommodate size of box to be formed.
• Fills glue pots with adhesive and positions rollers to dispense glue.
• Observes machine operation to detect malfunction.
• Inspects cartons for flaws.
• Make mechanical adjustments on machines.
• Other duties as assigned.
