Grand Lake Health System in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our outpatient practice. The role involves greeting patients, performing basic clinical and clerical tasks, and documenting in the electronic medical record with accuracy.

The successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program, be CMA certified or obtain within 6 months, and maintain Basic Life Support.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or will graduate within 6 months.
• Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or equivalent within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and escorts patients through the medical practice.
• Completes clinical assessments and documents in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team in implementing orders.
• Maintains patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Serves as liaison for patients with outside agencies and providers.
• Maintains infection control guidelines and supports equipment upkeep.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
