Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or teaching related discipline.
• Experience: 5 years in a GLP laboratory facility with 2 years working with non-human primates.
• LAT required; LATG preferred for Technical Supervisor; AALAS certification preferred for non-technical supervisor.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation for new technical personnel.
• Oversee and conduct training of technical personnel in basic and intermediate techniques; coordinate advanced-level training.
• Participate in developing process improvements and interdepartmental projects.
• Provide daily supervision and review of assigned staff; ensure accuracy and adherence to SOPs, GLPs and biosafety protocols.
• Maintain training documentation and training records; ensure timely updates to database and schedulers.
