Job summary

Charles River Laboratories in the United States seeks a supervisor to manage and develop technical staff. You will provide leadership, mentor team members, and ensure daily schedules reflect tasks and workload in compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role requires coordinating training, monitoring performance, and assisting in salary reviews. You’ll interact with sponsors and manage timecards, overtime, and staffing to maintain peak group performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 2–3 years of related experience; substitute with education if needed.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high quality results and interpret protocol requirements.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to assigned departmental employees.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, protocols, and safety procedures.
• Supervise daily work and review performance to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
• Assist in interviewing and selecting qualified personnel and coordinate HR actions.
