Job summary

AllianceBernstein in Nashville seeks a VP/Global Workplace Design & Space Planning to lead design strategy and standards across AB’s worldwide real estate portfolio. You will drive employee-centric, high-quality workplaces that reflect AB’s brand and culture.

Collaborating with senior leaders and external consultants, you will manage internal teams, oversee procurement, and balance global consistency with local character while advancing sustainability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 10+ years of workplace strategy, interior design and space planning experience.
• Proven success managing large-scale, multi-location design projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience with LEED/WELL/Fitwel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement global workplace design strategy and standards.
• Lead and mentor internal design and space planning staff.
• Oversee procurement of architectural/interior design consultants.
• Develop briefs with business units, Technology and Workplace Services.
• Coordinate design through project completion with external consultants.
• Support test-fit studies and conceptual layouts for sites worldwide.
• Ensure designs promote collaboration, flexibility and productivity.
• Maintain a global database of office layouts.
