World Fuel is hiring an HRIS Payroll Lead (Workday Payroll) to own and influence a global payroll landscape across US, UK, and international sites.

You will lead configuration, integrations, testing, and release management, partnering with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to deliver scalable payroll solutions.

Candidates should have 5+ years of Workday Payroll experience and a proven ability to drive payroll transformation in a multinational environment.

• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Strong consultative, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Workday Payroll and related payroll technologies.
• Lead payroll configuration, enhancements, integrations, testing, and release management activities.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to design scalable solutions and improve payroll processes.
• Support payroll operations across the US and UK while enabling integrations with global third-party payroll providers.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, backlog prioritization, and Agile delivery activities.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, security, reporting accuracy, and system performance.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership for complex projects and enterprise initiatives.
• Influence the future roadmap of HR and payroll technology at World Kinect.
