Job summary

World Fuel Services is seeking an experienced HRIS Payroll Lead to serve as the technical leader for our global Workday Payroll ecosystem. This hands-on role partners with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to design, optimize, and deliver scalable payroll and HR technology solutions.

You will lead configuration, testing, security, reporting, and data integrity initiatives across the U.S., UK, and global environments while mentoring the HRIS team and aligning with overall HR technology strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday Payroll experience in a global environment.
• Deep expertise in payroll configuration, integrations, BPM, security, reporting, testing & release management.
• Experience with third-party payroll vendor interfaces and Workday architecture is valuable.
• Proven ability to lead complex HRIS projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Workday Payroll across global environments.
• Act as SME for payroll-related HR technology initiatives, integrations, and system design.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors to translate needs into tech solutions.
• Drive testing, release management, security controls, reporting, and data integrity efforts.
