Job summary

Aven Hospitality implements Workday globally and continues to expand HR operations, recruiting, people experience, total rewards, and payroll. We seek a hands-on Senior HRIS Manager to lead day-to-day configuration, governance, optimization, and overall performance of the Workday environment.

This is a system owner role reporting to the Senior Director of HRIS and a key partner in scaling HR technology across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Workday experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience leading Open Enrollment, merit, and bonus cycles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in integrated HR system environments.
• Experience managing consultants, AMS providers, or implementation partners.
• Mentor analysts elevating team capability across configuration, reporting and issue resolution.
• Experience building reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and enterprise architecture across HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Security, Reporting, integrations, and data governance; provide executive-level guidance on scalable design decisions.
• Own day-to-day Workday administration including troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, maintaining configurations, and improving system performance.
• Gather business requirements and translate operational needs into scalable system solutions across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
• Manage external consultants, AMS providers, and implementation partners to ensure quality delivery and accountability.
• Partner with leaders across HR, Legal, IT, Finance, and Security to support growth, organizational changes, and enterprise initiatives.
