Job summary

Generac is seeking a Senior Windchill Process Owner to lead strategy, optimization, and adoption of CAD/PLM systems (Windchill) across the global organization. You will partner with engineering and manufacturing leaders to design scalable processes that improve productivity and collaboration.

You will deploy Windchill, drive adoption, mentor teams, and translate business requirements into system solutions. The role offers the chance to influence PLM across multiple divisions and locations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IS, or equivalent with 5+ years experience.
• Hands-on Windchill administration and optimization experience.
• Ability to gather requirements and deliver scalable CAD/PLM solutions.
• Experience supporting product development, engineering change, and releases.
• Strong project leadership and cross-functional stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a PLM and Windchill SME for the business.
• Lead deployment, optimization, and adoption of PLM across the organization.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing to develop and improve workflows, processes, and data management strategies.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.
• Design, implement, and support Windchill and related engineering systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity and efficiency.
• Lead training efforts and promote user adoption of PLM best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLM with broader business systems and processes.
• Mentor engineering systems team members and share technical expertise.
