Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Machine Head Engineering Leader to direct the global Machine Head subsystem across products. You will guide a large engineering organization, owning lifecycle quality, performance, and execution with responsibility for NPI/NTI, validation, and technology development.

As a senior leader, you will set vision, align strategic priorities, manage a substantial budget, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class products, while driving cost optimization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years Wind industry experience.
• May require travel up to 30% of time.

Responsibilities

• Develop the vision, set strategic priorities, and ensure alignment across the global Machine Head engineering team.
• Drive a culture that ensures outstanding product quality and targets for availability, reliability, and performance.
• Formulate and execute the strategy for continuous improvement of systems, tools, methods, and processes.
• Lead a large global Engineering team with responsibility for strategy, culture, and execution.
• Own a significant engineering operating and NTI/NPI investment budget.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive significant year over year product cost savings.
• Develop and execute a differentiated subsystem technology strategy from design through customer fulfillment.
• Drives modularity, component reuse, and best practices across all product platforms.
• Ensure robust cost-out project decks and world-class subsystem performance.
