Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Joining & Surface Finishing Technologies SME to set enterprise standards and own the technology roadmap for joining and finishing across all plants. You will drive hands-on problem solving on the plant floor, partnering with engineering and supply base to accelerate safe, high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing.

In this role you will pilot new technologies, scale successful solutions across locations, and lead workforce capability building with certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on welding/brazing experience.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving on the plant floor.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern global joining and finishing standards.
• Lead technology roadmap and pilot new processes.
• Deploy best practices across global plants and suppliers.
• Lead hands-on problem solving on the shop floor (Gemba).
