Job summary

Our confidential client seeks a Manager of Application Support & Web Infrastructure to provide strategic direction and operational leadership for globally hosted web and application systems.

The role oversees administration, release management, performance, and long-term strategy for critical environments, coordinating with Architecture, Development, Publishing, and IT teams to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in web systems, infrastructure, or application support.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration, maintenance, release management and performance for web hosting and application-support environments.
• Lead global operations and administration for source-code management, project planning, time tracking, collaboration, and IT service-management platforms.
• Provide leadership and supervision to technical staff, with performance management and mentoring responsibilities.
• Ensure availability, security, and capacity planning across global environments; communicate issues impacting schedules or objectives.
