Job summary

Lilly is seeking a senior-level Water Management expert to lead global strategies for wastewater, water use, and groundwater quality across manufacturing and research operations. You will translate regulatory developments into actionable requirements and drive environmental risk reduction through governance and collaboration.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, regulatory affairs, and technical guidance to sustain compliance and continuous improvement in water pollution control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in water pollution control practices, treatment technologies, and regulatory affairs in complex regulated environments.
• Expertise in US Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and Oil Pollution Prevention Act statutes and regulations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical API manufacturing or another highly regulated industry, including site-based operational experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance global water management strategies and performance standards for manufacturing, research, and operations.
• Assist new sites in obtaining environmental permits and implementing controls.
• Develop and track water program data, analytics, and audits to drive improvement.
• Interpret external water policy and regulatory developments into internal requirements and guidance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to water pollution control professionals across global sites.
