A Warehouse Supervisor in Coppell, TX will lead domestic and international warehouse operations, driving efficient fulfillment and safe, compliant practices. You will oversee staff, coordinate with suppliers, and implement improvements to warehousing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with warehouse operations: Pick, Pack and Ship, domestic, international and cartage freight forwarding warehousing services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficient in WMS – 3PL Central.
• Clear written and verbal communications.
• Organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Adhere to company policies, programs, and work rules.
• Perform work in a timely manner.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven.

Responsibilities

• Supervise domestic and international warehouse operations and staff.
• Meet with local warehouse suppliers/tools/equipment providers; negotiate for desired results.
• Benchmark operations against industry standards and identify cost and service improvements.
• Oversee daily domestic service and operations related to cartage, freight movement, and dispatch quotes.
• Provide a warehousing system delivering high service to external and internal customers; partner on new solutions.
• Review and adjust staffing to meet company goals in the warehouse.
• Aim to achieve warehouse expense goals via logistics metrics.
• Ensure a safe working environment through safety programs and procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed by the business.
