Blatchford in Ohio is seeking a Warehouse / Shipping Clerk to process international shipments, prepare export documents and maintain auditable files. You will coordinate with Sales, Warehouse and Customer Service to ensure accurate documentation and timely shipment tracking.

The role requires knowledge of IATA, IMDG, and DOT regulations, and a strong focus on ISO-compliant warehouse operations and continuous improvement. Training and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with international shipping and customs.
• Experience with warehousing and storekeeping in a busy warehouse environment.
• Experience with quality-controlled systems and health and safety practices.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to work with tight and ever-changing production deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
• Ability to interpret and follow multiple technical/production tasks.

Responsabilités

• Process freight documents and maintain auditable files.
• Process international small parcel and pallet shipments using shipping software.
• Ensure shipments comply with export documentation requirements.
• Create export documentation including invoices and packing lists.
• Schedule and assign warehouse staff to meet operational needs.
• Maintain warehouse and distribution operations in line with policies and ISO standards.
• Ensure shipments meet Blatchford international shipping guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of IATA, IMDG, and DOT/49 CFR regulations.
• Coordinate with customers/freight forwarders for booking and tracking.
• Control and manage inventory levels.
• Respond to customer service requests promptly and resolve issues.
