Responsibilities

• Process freight documents and maintain auditable files.
• Process all international small parcel and pallet shipments using shipping software.
• Ensure physical shipment attributes match all required export documentation.
• Create all required export documentation including invoices and packing lists.
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating policies and procedures.
• Ensure all shipments meet international shipping guidelines.
• Maintain working knowledge of hazardous materials IATA IMDG, and DOT/49 CFR shipping regulations.
• Communicate proactively with customers/freight forwarders to facilitate transportation booking and tracking.
• Control and manage inventory levels
• Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly
• Respond to the needs of the customer (internal/external)
• Liaise between Sales, Warehouse & Customer Service Teams
• Commit to Warehouse KPI responsibilities
• Contribute to team effort by executing required warehouse tasks
• Comply with warehousing and shipping regulations
• Work with Management and staff to ensure production standards
• Training of new hires
• Perform other duties as needed

1. GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for domestic and international product and material distribution within the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness to all customers.

2. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Process freight documents and maintain auditable files.
• Process all international small parcel and pallet shipments using shipping software.
• Ensure physical shipment attributes match all required export documentation.
• Create all required export documentation including invoices, packing list, and all other required documentation.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Ensure all shipments meet Blatchford international shipping guidelines.
• Maintain working knowledge of all currently hazardous materials IATA IMDG, and DOT/49 CFR shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
• Communicate proactively with customers/freight forwarders as required to facilitate transportation booking, shipping, and shipment tracking as required.
• Control and manage inventory levels
• Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly
• Responds promptly to the needs of the customer (internal/external)
• Works as liaison between Sales, Warehouse & Customer Service Teams as required
• Commit to all Warehouse KPI responsibilities.

• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
• Work with Management and additional staff to ensure highest level of production in accordance with company policy and ISO Standards

• Ability to work with tight and ever-changing production deadlines
• Ability to integrate, communicate, contribute and thrive in a team environment
• Ability to interpret and follow an assorted number of technical/production tasks or instructions.

Traditional Physical Requirements

• Requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping and stretching.
