Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Global Wide Area Network Engineer to join the IT Network Team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will design and implement core to edge network architecture, support SD-WAN, and manage LAN/WAN with a focus on growth and reliability.

The role involves vendor collaboration and documentation to ensure efficient, scalable network operations. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in network management, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or networking from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in network management.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of core to edge network architecture and routing protocols.
• Operational support of Data Network including troubleshooting routing and switching issues.
• Operational support of SD WAN infrastructure.
• LAN/WAN responsibilities including IP address management and documentation.
• Education and training of other individuals within the company regarding network routing.
