Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President to lead Sustainability Regulatory Strategy and Execution (Global) from New York, NY. You will translate evolving regulations into enterprise reporting strategy, governance, and execution, partnering with key corporate functions to ensure high-quality disclosures.

You will guide senior stakeholders, drive end-to-end delivery, and strengthen governance and controls to enable audit-ready reporting at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sustainability, finance, accounting, economics, public policy, law, or related field.
• Significant experience in sustainability reporting, regulatory strategy, or ESG governance.
• Strong understanding of banking models and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with ownership and executive presence.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regulatory strategy and execution of sustainability reporting across evolving frameworks.
• Drive end-to-end delivery from interpretation to governance, implementation and external disclosure.
• Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on regulatory developments and risks.
• Oversee narrative and quantitative disclosures across governance, strategy, risk, metrics and targets.
• Strengthen reporting governance, controls, and accountability frameworks for audit readiness.
• Partner with Sustainability, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Investor Relations and others.
• Anticipate risks, elevate issues, and drive practical solutions in rapid-change environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve data integrity, processes, and automation.
• Contribute to team capability, operating discipline and ownership culture.
