Job summary

Masimo in Irvine, CA is seeking a VP of Process Engineering & Automation to lead Process Engineering, Manufacturing Test, Automation, and technology transfer across its global manufacturing network. This role defines the enterprise strategy for manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation to enable scalable production and cost‑effective growth.

You will partner with R&D, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to align capabilities with product strategy, drive new product industrialization,

Qualifications

• 15+ years in process or manufacturing engineering with leadership experience.
• 8+ years in progressive people leadership across global teams.
• Experience with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and medical device regs.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into engineering roadmaps and capital plans.

Responsibilities

• Define global strategy and operating model for Process Engineering, Automation, and manufacturing tech.
• Lead organizations responsible for process development, readiness, validation, and transfer.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability.
• Oversee design and deployment of hardware/software electro-mechanical test systems.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE and data-driven methods.
• Set budgets, performance metrics, and capital plans aligned with business goals.
