Masimo Medical Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a visionary VP of Process Engineering & Automation to lead global processes, automation, and manufacturing technology.

This onsite Irvine, CA role partners with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure scalable production, product quality, and cost‑effective growth. The VP will drive new product industrialization, technology transfer, and continuous improvement across Masimo’s manufacturing network, while building a

Qualifications

• 15+ years in process/manufacturing engineering or automation with 8+ years of leadership.
• Experience leading complex manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
• Experience in new product industrialization, process validation, automation, and tech transfer.
• Ability to translate strategy into engineering roadmaps and capital plans.
• Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, risk management, and regulated medical device requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define global strategy and operating model for Process Engineering, Automation, and related capabilities.
• Lead global teams responsible for process development, validation, and tech transfer.
• Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and readiness.
• Provide executive leadership for new product industrialization and scale-up across locations.
• Develop automation strategies to improve productivity, quality, and labor efficiency.
• Oversee design and deployment of hardware/software test systems for devices and sensors.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and lifecycle management for capital investments.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, and data‑driven manufacturing improvements.
• Manage budgets, resource plans, and capital strategy to support objectives.
