Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in the United States seeks a Global Engineering and Environment Executive to lead enterprise engineering, capital strategy, and sustainability across a multibillion-dollar global consumer goods organization.

Hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ with in-person Tuesdays–Thursdays and remote Mondays/Fridays. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in engineering, manufacturing, and capital planning in regulated environments, with CPG experience and a track record in digitalization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline required.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, or operations within a capital‑intensive, regulated environment.
• Consumer packaged goods experience in Household and Personal Care categories.
• Experience with process automation and digitalization in global companies.
• Experience leading enterprise capital planning and executing large, complex portfolios with strong governance.
• Ability to lead enterprise-wide technical, engineering, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Experience operating in complex, global organizations with multiple facilities.
• Automation upgrades and control system modernization with standardization and technology transfer.
• Familiarity with validation practices including Computer System Validation and Quality Systems Validation.
• Track record in sustainability and decarbonization through cross-functional partnership.
• Strong executive communication and problem‑solving skills; capable from boardroom to plant floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide engineering and sustainability strategy aligned with long-range manufacturing objectives.
• Direct over $120 million in annual capital deployment and oversee capital planning and ROI analysis.
• Serve as enterprise authority for sustainability, decarbonization, and target strategies.
• Establish engineering standards and technology transfer workflows from R&D to commercialization.
• Lead manufacturing transformation toward Industry 4.0, automation, and digitalization.
• Strengthen enterprise risk governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Plant Leadership, Treasury, and others.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Responsible Care, and validation/quality systems standards.
• Provide oversight to Corporate Engineering and Facilities leadership and teams.
• Oversee contractor selection and external partnerships with regulators and industry groups.
• Direct capital projects from feasibility to startup, including modernization and capacity expansion.
• Advise executive leadership on manufacturing capability and change management.
