Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a VP of Enterprise Risk and Compliance to establish the global ERM program within the Finance team. You will build frameworks, governance, and processes to proactively manage risk at scale and coordinate with Security, Legal, Finance, and Operations.

The role requires 15+ years in enterprise risk management, executive presence, and a proven track record at high-growth tech companies. You will report to the CFO and partner with the Board and Audit Committee to drive resilient

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise risk management or a closely related function.
• Prior experience in a VP or equivalent enterprise risk leadership role.
• Demonstrated track record of building ERM programs from inception, not just inheriting mature programs.
• Experience at high-growth technology or cloud infrastructure companies, with complex risk profiles.
• Strong executive presence with demonstrated experience presenting to boards and C-suite leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Enterprise Risk team, including hiring and developing a lean team as the function scales.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Board and Audit Committee on enterprise risk matters.
• Build and operationalize the ERA process, including risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and a centralized risk register.
• Design and implement a Key Risk Indicator (KRI) framework for proactive risk monitoring.
• Develop the enterprise risk appetite and tolerance framework, translating leadership risk vision into actionable thresholds.
• Design and facilitate risk management programs from executive Risk Council to Risk Champion network.
• Coordinate risk assurance activities across Security, Legal, Finance, and Operations in a three-lines-of-defense model.
• Partner with IT and business leaders to enable technology-driven risk monitoring and reporting.
• Own the interface between ERM and second-line functions, setting escalation triggers and reporting handoffs.
• Maintain a centralized inventory of compliance requirements across functions and audit findings.
