Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical background or equivalent experience.
• Programming experience with C, C++, Java, Python, C#, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall reliability of TikTok's video system, including publishing and distribution.
• Lifecycle management of production systems: change management, deployment, operations, and incident response.
• Monitor system and respond to incidents to maintain SLA; review and follow up on production incidents.
• Perform capacity management of compute, storage and network resources to ensure stability and cost efficiency.
• Provide strong support during big events to handle large traffic.
• Build tools, automations, visualizations and monitors for global infrastructure.
