Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to own the hardware and software decisions that make a vehicle build work—from compute and sensor architecture to harness routing and DBW integration.

You’ll work across hardware, embedded, and autonomy software to bring architecture to a working, demo-ready system. This hands-on role involves evaluating tradeoffs, coordinating field deployments, and traveling domestically and internationally to lead builds and installs in person.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in systems/integration engineering in automotive/robotics/defense/autonomy.
• Experience with vehicle hardware integration: harnessing, sensor/compute mounting, architecture.
• Able to make and defend build decisions under deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to bridge depth and summaries.

Responsibilities

• Define hardware architecture for a build and procure long-lead components.
• Coordinate wiring harness design and sensor mounting; manage cross-team dependencies.
• Specify sensor tuning requirements with hardware and perception teams and ensure closure.
• Scope DBW validation and tuning plans with autonomy teams.
• Travel onsite to lead vehicle builds and prep for demos.
• Assess infrastructure needs at new sites for regulatory visits.
• Collaborate daily across hardware, embedded, and autonomy software to resolve issues.
• Communicate between technical detail and summaries with adjacent teams.
