Deployed system experience (hands‑on with integrated HW/SW systems), ideally in a fast‑paced technology or automotive environment.
System Troubleshooting: Strong hands‑on experience assembling, debugging, and testing complex hardware and software systems.
Broad knowledge across electrical, computer, and mechanical engineering fields, with the ability to quickly master new technical topics.
Software Skills: Working knowledge of an object‑oriented programming language (e.g., Python, C++).
High-level understanding of autonomous vehicle subsystems (sensors, compute, wiring harnesses, power distribution, vehicle actuators).
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components of modern passenger vehicle control systems (chassis communication, controls, braking, steering).

As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in bringing complex self‑driving vehicle systems to life. You will be responsible for taking designed hardware components (compute, sensors, wiring, actuators) and integrating them into functioning prototype platforms. This hands‑on role bridges the gap between design engineering and manufacturing, focusing on system bring‑up, multi‑disciplinary debugging (mechanical, electrical, and software), and initial triage of issues to ensure prototype and production fleets are enabled on schedule.
