Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Integration Engineer to design and build compute and sensor hardware for autonomous and AI-driven vehicles.

You will work across the full hardware lifecycle—from schematic design and PCB layout to bring-up, validation, and production support. You will collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams to ship reliable systems into production vehicle programs, and interact with vendors and contract manufacturers for prototyping and production

Qualifications

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital/analog electronics, and PCB layout graduating by December 2026.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) for hardware debug and validation.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware.
• Support hardware bring-up and debug, including board-level and component-level troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and validate end-to-end functionality.
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers to support prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp.
• Contribute to hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.
