Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is hiring Hardware Integration Engineers to design and bring up compute and sensor hardware for autonomous and AI-driven vehicles.

You will work across schematics, PCB layout, bring-up, and validation, collaborating with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ship reliable systems into production vehicle programs. We seek candidates with degrees in Electrical/Computer Engineering and a strong background in circuit design, PCB layout, lab instrumentation, and vehicle

Qualifications

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related degree.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital/analog electronics, and PCB layout graduating by December 2026.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) for hardware debug and validation.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications.
• Experience with high-speed digital design, power electronics, or RF/sensor interfaces.
• Familiarity with vehicle-system protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).
• Exposure to compliance/EMC testing or DFM/DFT processes.
• Prior internship or project experience with automotive, robotics, or embedded hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware
• Support hardware bring-up and debug, including board-level and component-level troubleshooting
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and validate end-to-end functionality
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers to support prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp
• Contribute to hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports
