Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a strategic VC & Startup Ecosystem Marketing Lead to shape partnerships with top VCs and drive adoption of MongoDB for Startups and Voyage AI among AI startups. This individual contributor role collaborates with MongoDB for Startups, Ventures, Revenue Marketing, and Partner Marketing to write the playbook and own the results.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in partner-facing marketing or program building across tech, cloud partners, startups, VCs, or accelerators.
• Existing network among VCs or top tech partners to leverage from day one.
• Track record of building pipeline or funnel motions with measurable results.
• Experience building programs from scratch with a small team.
• Executive presence representing a company at flagship ecosystem events or to senior stakeholders.
• Experience driving initiatives from strategy to measurable pipeline outcomes across teams.
• Ability to work independently with a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Build and run our VC partnership and marketing motion across high-value VCs worldwide, including programs and founder-focused activities.
• Own referral performance from first referral through activation and consumption with clear goals and reporting.
• Serve as MongoDB's primary liaison to VC partners across regions and support flagship ecosystem moments.
• Plan and deliver VC-focused events such as founder dinners, portfolio workshops, and partner summits, tying events to referrals and pipeline.
• Align execution across teams to translate strategy into measurable results across regions.
