Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director, Global Value & Access Business Development to lead pricing, access, and coverage input for BD activities. You will collaborate with Commercial BD, Global Access Strategy Leads, and regional teams to assess opportunities and drive pricing strategies.

The role requires deep knowledge of US and international payer environments, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to operate under tight timelines within a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of market access or payer experience, or including business experience in a Marketing/Sales role.
• Masters degree and 7 years of market access or payer experience, or including business experience in a Marketing/Sales role.
• Bachelor's degree and 9 years of market access or payer experience, or including business experience in a Marketing/Sales role.
• Proven ability to manage in a highly fluid, interactive, matrix environment and build strong partnerships with regional and global colleagues.
• Ability to translate complex pricing and reimbursement analyses into analytic questions.
• Strong oral/written communications skills with senior management presence.

Responsibilities

• BD point of contact for GV&A input on pricing, access and coverage assumptions within BD commercial assessments.
• Research & Analysis using key databases and BD diligence material on target product and competitors.
• Commercial Assessment to provide price and access assumptions for BD revenue forecasts.
• BD Process participation to align GV&A inputs with cross-functional timelines.
• Additional opportunity to lead strategic projects or serve as Access Strategy Lead.
