Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Contracts Specialist in Business & Legal Affairs Admin to support the VP with license agreements and related tasks for Global TV Distribution. You will draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts across distribution channels, including SVOD and EST, using the in-house SAFE system.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in business or legal affairs in media, strong contract interpretation skills, and the ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, and admin

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and summarize contracts.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and facilitating signatures of licenses for film/TV content.
• Experience with contract management systems and multiple distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, negotiating, and facilitating signatures of licenses for film/TV content globally.
• Prepare short form license agreements, deal memos, amendments and other legal documents as needed.
• Identify, research, and help resolve business and legal issues, including contract interpretation.
• Review post-execution agreements and input key deal terms into ONIT.
• Provide support on special projects and other duties as assigned.
