Lyft is seeking a senior leader to scale Trust & Safety across global markets from its New York area headquarters. The role partners with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Communications, Finance, and Operations to translate strategy into measurable safety impact.

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership, deep Trust & Safety expertise, and a track record of running large, complex safety programs at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Trust & Safety, risk, or safety operations.
• Experience leading multiple Trust & Safety functions at scale.
• Experience with budget ownership and cross-functional governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lyft's global safety compliance, transparency, and risk functions with strong governance.
• Oversee policy operations, launch readiness, and strategic programs to enable execution.
• Guide partnerships with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and product teams for scalable safety.
• Translate strategy into priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes across the org.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams with clear accountability and decision rights.
