Job summary

Coach, Inc. is seeking an experienced Trim Manager in New York to source, develop, and manage textile trims for apparel collections. You will liaise with designers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and cost targets.

The role requires 3–5 years in trim management, a fashion/textile degree, and strong budgeting, negotiation, and communication skills. Base pay ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in trim management or apparel trims.
• Bachelor’s degree in fashion/textile field or related discipline.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to write and speak clearly.
• Experience managing budgets and cost controls across multiple projects.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
• Experience in fast-paced, global environments and supplier collaboration.
• Adaptability in dynamic settings and proactive prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Meet with trim vendors to research and present findings to design teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate, select, and track trim suitability for product lines.
• Oversee trim development from concept to bulk production for outlets and lines.
• Manage production calendar, sample tracking, testing, and costing.
• Coordinate sample ordering and collaborate with cross-functional partners to hit dates and target prices.
• Provide technical expertise for risk assessment of trim applications and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain material library and prepare weekly cross-functional meetings using PowerPoint.
• Create Seasonal trim Boards and SMS Trim charts with accurate documentation.
