Job summary

Bandit Running in New York is seeking a Product Development Manager for Apparel, Accessories & Trim to lead the full-cycle development and production process across trims, labels, and hangtags, coordinating with Design, Raw Materials, Pre-Production, and Production.

You will manage seasonal sourcing, testing, lab-dip requests, and vendor relationships, maintain materials data, support cost reviews, and present milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accessories and/or apparel sourcing, development, or production.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Sharp critical thinking and problem-solving instincts.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Existing relationships with mills, factories, and suppliers.
• Process-first mindset with flexibility to adapt as supply chain evolves.

Responsibilities

• Execute seasonal trim sourcing and development across all categories (labels, hangtags, tapings).
• Manage seasonal trim testing, coordinating with suppliers to flag and resolve issues early.
• Support Senior Raw Materials Manager on sample yardage inventory, fabric testing, counter-sourcing, and fabric library records.
• Maintain accurate seasonal material information in product management systems.
• Manage seasonal lab-dip requests end to end from design handoff through production approval.
• Own and maintain Product Development tracking tools across the full development cycle.
• Communicate daily with domestic and global vendors to keep timelines on track.
• Assist with costing reviews, including reverse engineering strategies as directed.
• Flag and resolve production issues specific to trim and fabric to protect quality and delivery timing.
• Collaborate with Design, Tech, and cross-functional partners to execute product strategy.
• Manage tasks against the seasonal calendar and flag needed changes proactively.
• Participate in and present at seasonal development and production milestone meetings.
