Jobot is seeking a Traveling Electrical Assistant Project Manager to lead electrical projects across diverse sites, with a focus on data centers. The role requires coordinating teams, ensuring NEC safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical PM, a Journeyman license, and strong communication skills, with willingness to travel frequently; a degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Experience with data centers, data, power, and electrical construction.
• Excellent PM skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and safety standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to various project sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting electrical issues and providing solutions.
• Proficient in project management software and related computer apps.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution from initiation to closure.
• Ensure electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance meet NEC and safety standards.
• Coordinate and supervise Journeyman Electricians and team members at sites.
• Manage resources and timelines, keep work on time and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safety and specs compliance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders; provide updates and address issues.
• Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Review and update project plans as requirements change.
• Travel to various sites to manage on-site activities.

Responsibilities

• 1. Assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of project execution, from initiation to closure.

• 8. Continually reviewing and updating project plans to reflect changes in requirements or scope.
• 9. Traveling to various project sites as required, managing on-site activities and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in an electrical project management role, preferably within the engineering industry.
• 2. A valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• 3. Proven experience with data centers, data, power, and electrical construction.
• 4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• 5. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other relevant safety standards.
• 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• 7. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to various project sites.
• 8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and devise effective solutions.
• 9. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
• 10. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
