Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Director, Travel & Expense to lead and modernize our global T&E program. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver a digital-first, scalable spend ecosystem.

You will partner with Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, Security, and Operations to implement AI-enabled workflows, policy enforcement, and global controls across travel, receipts, and corporate cards. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of leadership in T&E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years leading Travel & Expense or related functions.
• Proven T&E transformation and automation experience.
• Experience with global programs and cross-border transformation.
• Strong leadership and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation of the T&E program into a modern, automated, digital-first experience.
• Oversee global travel operations across air, hotel, ground transport, meetings, and traveler support.
• Build a scalable global T&E roadmap with KPIs, dashboards, and change management.
• Partner with Security, HR, AP, Payroll, and Finance to streamline processes.
• Manage travel partners and supplier relationships and ensure compliance.
