Job summary

Dcbar is seeking a Director of Compliance to lead the organization\'s regulatory program across U.S. federal, state, local, and international requirements.

You will ensure booking, ticketing, payment, accessibility, and consumer-protection practices meet applicable laws while coordinating with Legal, IT Security, and business teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD, advanced degree, or compliance certification strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive compliance experience, ideally in travel/hospitality/e-commerce.
• Experience with GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, and/or Mexican data protection law strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. travel industry regulatory structures (federal, state, local).

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance program across U.S. federal/state/local and international travel regulations.
• Oversee compliance with ADA, PCI-DSS, and consumer protection rules across booking channels.
• Manage cross-border data transfer and vendor/regulatory due diligence for market expansion.
• Partner with Legal, IT Security, and Business teams to embed compliance in products and campaigns.
• Prepare compliance reports for the Chief Legal Officer and Board.
