Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking an International Transportation Specialist II to coordinate and optimize domestic and international transportation across the organization’s supply chain. The role acts as a primary liaison with carriers, brokers, and distribution partners while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.

The position focuses on improving visibility, standardizing processes, and driving continuous transportation improvements to support growth objectives and network expansion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 3–5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international transportation activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of products.
• Manage daily transportation operations, including freight quoting, carrier selection, shipment scheduling, tracking, and resolution of delivery issues.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to support shipment execution and service performance.
• Investigate and resolve freight claims, service failures, and transportation-related escalations.
