Expeditors International is seeking a Transportation Finance Manager to lead the Global Transportation Spend Operations Team and oversee Transportation Finance Analysts across APAC and AMER. You will enforce financial controls, manage multimodal freight spend, and deliver actionable insights to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or quantitative field.
• 7-9+ years of progressive operational leadership experience in freight audit and payment, transportation accounting, or logistics billing operations.
• Minimum 3+ years of direct supervisory experience overseeing high-throughput financial operations teams.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar freight spend portfolios and driving high-volume transaction exceptions at global scale.
• Advanced SQL capabilities to query multi-million row datasets and transform data into executive visuals.
• Expertise in workflow load-balancing, capacity planning, and process re-engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence to present complex metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead team performance to meet strict SLAs and drive continuous improvement.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries against internal data warehouses.
• Create concise executive summaries for Customers Leadership and Spend Owners.
• Monitor daily intake and balance capacity during volume spikes and month-end closes.
• Coach and manage Transportation Finance Analysts across APAC and AMER.
• Sponsor and drive milestone execution for improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Escalate carrier AR disputes and maintain contractual adherence.
