Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Freight Pay & Claims Analyst to support the Global Transportation Enablement team. You will own critical financial workflows, enforce strong controls, and maintain freight payables integrity across global multimodal networks.

The role focuses on leading payment analysis, forensic reconciliations, resolving invoice exceptions, and delivering analytics for executive reviews. Hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or analytics.
• 7–9+ years in freight audit/payments or logistics billing.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience overseeing high-throughput financial operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead payment analysis for freight spend across global networks.
• Conduct weekly SOA reconciliations to reduce aged balances.
• Resolve complex invoice exceptions within SLAs.
• Drive quarterly continuous improvement projects for strategic portfolios.
• Validate end-to-end data processing for weekly spend files across AMER/EMEA/APAC.
• Support strict monthly financial close schedules and cutoffs.
• Perform root-cause analysis on invoice exceptions.
