Job summary

Expeditors is hiring a Transportation Finance Manager (Customer Onsite) to lead the Global Transportation Spend Operations Team. You will supervise Transportation Finance Analysts across APAC and AMER, ensure multi‑carrier spend integrity, and drive analytics via SQL and BigQuery.

You will create executive summaries, balance workloads during peak periods, and guide optimization projects with cross‑functional partners. Strong leadership and finance analytics are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, or quantitative field.
• 7–9+ years of progressive operational leadership in freight audit and payment/logistics billing.
• 3+ years supervising high-throughput financial operations teams or vendor pods.
• Experience managing multi‑million-dollar freight spend and gaps in billing processes.
• Strong SQL skills to query large datasets and transform data into executive visuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing Transportation Finance Analysts team across APAC and AMER.
• Oversee freight payables integrity and strict financial controls across global carrier networks.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries against internal data warehouses.
• Deliver executive summaries and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor daily intake, SLA adherence, and month-end close capacity planning.
• Present concise financial/operational metrics to leadership using SCQA framework.
