Job summary

EY is seeking a Transaction Tax Manager in the United States to lead multi‑client engagements on complex tax diligence, restructuring, and transaction advisory for corporate and private equity activities. You’ll guide tax strategy, manage risk, and drive cross‑functional collaboration across global teams.

The role involves planning and executing tax strategies for acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuring, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
US CPA or member of US State bar.
Typically, no less than 4–6 years relevant experience.
Data Visualization and Storytelling needed.
Tax Due Diligence experience.
Tax Attribute Management and Planning.
Private Equity Transaction actions.
Deal Structuring and Restructuring.
Post-Deal Integration experience.
Lead multiple client engagement teams on transactions.

Responsibilities

Lead workstream delivery and track deliverable completion and project status.
Participate in client sessions and lead workstreams (planning, execution, closure).
Manage engagement economics and implement resource plans and budgets.
Identify and analyze tax risks and opportunities; advise on alternative tax strategies.
Plan, execute and integrate transaction strategies for clients.
