Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Transaction Tax to lead advisory work on corporate and private equity transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and capital markets engagements. You’ll apply deep tax expertise to deliver strategic outcomes, mentor teams, and guide complex deal structuring across domestic and cross-border matters.

You’ll travel regularly to support client engagements and must have a strong record in tax due diligence, planning, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• US CPA or member of US State bar required.
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years relevant experience.
• Experience in data visualization and storytelling.
• Knowledge of tax due diligence and deal structuring for transactions.
• Experience with private equity and corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more tax transaction processes and projects with focus on quality and risk.
• Drive continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions.
• Develop solutions for complex tax issues during acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
• Lead client engagement teams and coordinate with cross-functional specialists.
• Assess tax risks, opportunities, and provide strategic tax guidance for deals.
