Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager, Corporate Transaction Tax & Advisory, EMEA to lead cross-border tax advice for US-headquartered clients across the EMEA region, focusing on separations, restructurings, divestitures, acquisitions and post-deal integration.

You will collaborate with US, international, and local country teams, manage multi-jurisdictional workstreams, and deliver client-ready analyses and recommendations while applying evolving technologies to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Law degree with a tax specialization required.
• LL.M. in International Tax Law, European Tax Law, or related discipline preferred.
• At least 5 years of international tax experience in Europe.
• Experience advising multinational organizations on cross-border transactions and post-merger integration.
• Familiarity with OECD Pillar Two (GloBE) rules and international tax developments.

Responsibilities

• Advise U.S.-headquartered groups on non-US tax aspects of global transactions and restructurings.
• Analyze and develop tax-efficient structures across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
• Assess application of tax-neutral merger and demerger regimes and withholding taxes.
• Review holding company, IP, and cross-border financing structures in EMEA markets.
• Coordinate with U.S. federal, international, and local tax teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare client-ready analyses and recommendations.
