Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Manager, Corporate Transaction Tax & Advisory, EM E (CTTA) to advise multinational groups on non-US tax aspects of global transactions including divestitures, carve-outs, and cross-border restructurings. The role emphasizes coordinating with regional experts across EMEA and leveraging OECD Pillar Two developments.

In this position you will analyze tax-efficient structures, review holding/IP structures, and support multi-jurisdictional workstreams,

Qualifications

• Law degree with a tax specialization required; LL.M. in International Tax Law, European Tax Law, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise U.S.-headquartered multinational groups on non-US tax aspects of global restructurings, carve-outs, divestitures, acquisitions and cross-border activity.
• Analyze and develop tax-efficient structures across multiple (EMEA) jurisdictions through the transaction lifecycle.
• Assess application of tax-neutral regimes and withholding tax considerations across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Review holding company, IP, and cross-border financing structures across key EMEA markets.
• Evaluate dividend and interest withholding tax implications and treaty access.
• Advise on OECD Pillar Two rules and other developments affecting multinational groups.
• Coordinate with US and international teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Support clients in implementing plans by coordinating with local advisors and multi-jurisdictional workstreams.
• Prepare client-ready analyses, memos, and recommendations; maintain regular client communication.
• Support senior staff in developing client relationships and new opportunities.
