Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Manager, Corporate Transaction Tax & Advisory, EM E (CTTA) to lead tax advisory for cross-border transactions and restructuring. You will work on complex transactions with regional and global teams, delivering practical tax strategies for multinational clients.

The role requires a law degree with tax specialization and at least 5 years of international tax experience, with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Law degree with tax specialization is required.
• LL.M. in International or European Tax Law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise US-headquartered multinational groups on non-US tax aspects of global separations, carve-outs, divestitures, acquisitions, post-merger integrations, and cross-border restructuring.
• Analyze and develop tax-efficient structures across multiple EMEA jurisdictions and assess regimes.
• Review holding, IP, and cross-border financing structures across key EMEA markets.
• Evaluate dividend, interest, and withholding tax implications across treaties.
• Advise on OECD Pillar Two rules and other international tax developments.
• Coordinate with US and international tax teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Prepare client-ready analyses, memoranda, and recommendations for engagement teams.
