Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Vice President in Jersey City to drive strategy and execution of North America transaction coordination initiatives, leading end-to-end process improvements and global standardization across regions.

You will own NA initiatives, partner with regional stakeholders, and shape a scalable framework of roles, learning journeys, and governance to ensure consistent execution and transformational impact.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transaction coordination, project planning, and delivery.
• Strong leadership and ability to drive cross-regional initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and drive decisions.
• Detail-oriented with strong collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of NA Transaction Coordination initiatives, including project plans, deliverables, working sessions, and senior stakeholder communications (readouts, status reporting, decision materials).
• Drive improvements in cycle time, quality, capacity, rework reduction, and control execution through process redesign.
• Identify delivery risks early, propose options, and drive decisions through to implementation; escalation point for complex challenges.
• Establish standardized processes, artifacts, and handoffs for NA with potential global replication.
• Partner with regional stakeholders to align on a common core and manage local/regulatory exceptions.
• Create governance mechanisms to sustain standardization (playbooks, ownership, change intake, adoption measures).
• Build a capability framework for Transaction Coordination roles by role and job grade.
• Design and implement learning journeys (onboarding→proficiency→advanced) with training paths and checkpoints.
• Define role progression across job grades with NA leaders and HR/Talent where applicable.
• Improve coaching and feedback routines through playbooks and manager enablement tools.
